PUBLIC HEARINGS
7:00 PM – To review a proposed article to see if the Town will vote to amend the Town’s Zoning By-law by deleting the existing Section VI.L.- Temporary Moratorium on Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers – in its entirety, and to further amend the Table of Contents of the Town of Hanson Zoning By-laws to delete Section VI.L. – Temporary Moratorium on Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers. No one from the public was in attendance at this hearing.
Motion made to delete existing Section VI.L. –Temporary Moratorium of Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers in its entirety and to amend the Table of Contents of Town of Hanson Zoning By-laws to delete Section VI.L. – Temporary Moratorium on Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers: Patricia Glenn

DISCUSSIONS
The Board discussed the roads that the Town is currently maintaining in sub-divisions that have been approved and have yet to receive Chapter 91 funding because of the fact that the roads were not accepted for one reason or another; in particular Alden Way and Independence Way.
The process starts with the Planning Board approving the subdivision then notice is given to the Selectmen who then put it before the Town meeting. Town Planner gave the Board members info to take home and digest and then decide what roads to move forward with.

OLD BUSINESS
After a site visit to All American Assisted Living, Board member Joseph Gamache suggested the Planning Board write a letter to All American informing them that the wheel stop in the rear of the building is in the handicap access area and needs to be removed. Town Planner will follow through with this and also notify Town Administrator Ron San Angelo as the ADA Director.
Next meeting scheduled for October 27, 2014.
